Purpose of the conference - presenting the results of scientific research or development works obtained by research teams of universities, scientific and research institutes, as well as other entities conducting research to improve internal security. An important element of the conference will be the opportunity to disseminate the results of research conducted for security and to share knowledge, experience and good practices in the field of obtaining funds for research and development works in the area of security.

Thematic areas of the conference:

  1. The use of scientific research and development works and their impact on security, social and economic environment in Poland and other European Union countries.
  2. Thematic areas of future projects financed from EU funds, including the area of security - the possibility of obtaining funds for the implementation of research and development works from EU funds, as well as their spending and settlement.
  3. Good practices and exchange of experience in obtaining aid funds for research and development in the field of security and finding partners for the implementation of EU projects by universities, enterprises and entities acting for security.

PUBLICATION OF ARTICLES

Participants of the conference – after receiving a positive opinion of the reviewers – will be entitled to publish papers in the following scientific journals: “The Police Review” (70 pts.), “Internal Security” (70 pts.), “Police. Quarterly of the Police Management Staff” (20 pts.) or in a compact publication published by the Police Academy in Szczytno (20 points). The Scientific Committee of the conference will decide about the place of publication of the materials.

COMPETITION APPLICATION

As part of the project, the Police Academy in Szczytno has also planned a competition for research or research and development works of particular importance for ensuring security in the era of modern threats.

The application deadline for the competition is 5 May 2023.

Addressees of the conference:

  • Researchers of domestic and foreign universities and research institutes who have been involved in or are conducting research and development works in the area of security.
  • Experts evaluating project proposals financed from external sources.
  • Employees of universities planning to engage in scientific research and development works in the area of security.
  • Representatives of intermediary and managing institutions in obtaining external funds.
  • Domestic and foreign entrepreneurs and other entities conducting research and development works in the area of security.

 

CONFERENCE FEE

The conference fee is PLN 185.76 (which includes lunch on the first and second day of the conference and a gala dinner). The organizer does not provide accommodation. It is proposed to use the accommodation base in Szczytno and the surrounding area:
