Guidelines for the processing of personal data during the transmission of an event organised by the Police Academy in Szczytno (e.g. conference, webinar, training)

In accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) of 27 April 2016 (OJ L 119, p. 1) (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR), please be informed that:

  1. The controller of your personal data is the Police Academy (WSPol) in Szczytno, whose registered address is: ul. Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego 111, 12-100 Szczytno, Poland.

  3. Once applied to attend an event organised by the Police Academy in Szczytno (e.g. a conference, webinar, training), your personal data shall be processed under Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR on the grounds that this is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, in connection with the mission of the system of higher education and science as regards education, scientific activity, shaping civic attitudes, as well as participation in social development and creation of innovation-based economy, as referred to in the Act of 20 July 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science.
  4. Your personal data shall only be processed for the purpose and to the extent necessary to attend the above mentioned event.
  5. Your personal data may be made available to, where applicable, the co-organiser of the conference, entities entitled to obtain personal data under the applicable law, companies supporting WSPol in IT services under the concluded agreements, and recipients of the work to be published after the conference.
  6. In addition, we would like to inform you that the website uses: plugins, buttons or other tools to share content on social networks such as: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google Maps, YouTube. The owners of the social networks are separate data controllers. You will find information regarding the processing of personal data on these portals at their websites.
  7. During the event your personal data shall be processed by a video streaming system  which is administered by the following company: nadaje.com
  8. Your personal data shall be processed until the purpose for which the data are processed has been achieved, i.e. 3 months from the date of the conference. In situations provided for by law, the data may be also processed for the period necessary to establish and pursue possible claims under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
  1. The person who the data belongs to has the right to request from the controller access to his or her personal data, the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to the processing of personal data.
  2. Your personal data are not subject to automated processing, including profiling.
  3. Any person who claims that the processing of his or her personal data has violated the provisions of the GDPR has the right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection to the address: ul. Stawki 2, 00 - 193 Warszawa, Poland, or online: https://uodo.gov.pl/
  4. The provision of your personal data is voluntary, but necessary to achieve the above mentioned purpose.

Information on recording and making the image of event participants public

Please be noted that when attending an event organised by the Police Academy in Szczytno (e.g. conference, webinar, training), you can share your image. Your participation in the event shall be explicitly treated by the organiser as expressing your consent to uncharged and unlimited in terms of time and territory recording, coping and sharing of your image, voice and statements within the framework of the statutory activity of the Police Academy in Szczytno, whose registered address is: ul. Marszałka  Józefa Piłsudskiego 111, 12-100 Szczytno, Poland.

Once given, your consent implies that photographs, films or recordings made during the event may be used in publications to be published by the organiser, placed on the organiser’s  websites, and in other materials distributed by means of vision or sound in the public space, including social media.

Accordingly, you hereby acknowledge and agree that you waive any and all property claims for the recording, copying and sharing of your image, voice, statements for the purposes set forth in this declaration.

At any time you are free to switch off your webcam and thus prevent your image from being recorded.
